General
The Takamine GC3CE-NAT is the electro-acoustic version of the G3C, making this full-size classical guitar perfect for gigging and recording. Featuring a Venetian cutaway for eased access to the highest frets, this model fully supports trickier Flamenco techniques and can be plugged directly into an acoustic amp, audio interface or PA system.
The Takamine GC3CE-NAT: Solid Soundboard
Takamine has also gifted the GC3CE with a solid spruce soundboard for maximum resonance, while the mahogany body chimes in with the warmth needed for full-and-dynamic nylon-string sound. The comfy mahogany neck has been topped with a 19-fret laurel fretboard and is joined to the body via a dovetail joint for optimum stability. The whole thing has been coated in transparent high-gloss lacquer and polished off with a mosaic-style soundhole rosette inlay and headstock veneer.
TP-4T Preamp
The electronics of the GC3CE-NAT include Takamine's own TP-4T preamp, which sets players up with a gain control, 3-band EQ controls and an integrated chromatic tuner with LED display. As a result, tuning up and tweaking the sound is never a problem, not even on a dark stage.
